 Manaslu Trek

The main journey here is around Manaslu, reaching north of the Himalayas and circling the great Manaslu-Himalchuli-Baudha massif. Since Manaslu is a special area for trekkers and was only officially opened from 1991 onwards for trekking, it needs special permits. Three-week complete treks will give you an exciting, adventurous and once in a lifetime experience. This trek is famous and popular in these days because of the it 's unique nature. You need to challenge with nature before to do this trek . It means everyone need to be fit by physically and mentally. This trek serve you the unique culture, lovely mountains views , experience about ups and downs trails in the high mountain trail sides.




 

Day 01: Arrive inKathmandu
Welcomed and Pick up by us and transfer to  hotel. We will explain the daily program upon arrival. Overnight at hotel .

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Sightseeing of World Heritage Sites  like Kathmandu Darbar Square, Swayambhunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Pasupatinath Temple. Overnight at hotel .

Day 03: Kathmandu to Arughat Bazaar (540m),
Morning after breakfast, drive to Arughat Bazaar by Land Curser or Local Bus through exploring Nepalese country side that offer green hills, river, farms. Overnight at Tented Camp .
Day 04: Arughat Bazaar to Soti Khola (730m),
After breakfast,trek to Soti Khola with easy walk hilly up and down through passing Gurung and Mager villages, passing seasonal crops fields and waterfalls. Overnight at Tented Camp.
 
Day 05: Soti Khola to Machha Khola (930m),
After breakfast we walk 6-7 hours with normal local trail to Machha Khola. Machha Khola means Fish River and it’s located just over the stream. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 06: Machhi Khola to Doban (1150m),
After breakfast Trek  to Yaru Phat, several steep ascend and descents through exploring country hill side, crossing and passing rivers and passing several settlements. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 07: Doban to Philim (1570m),

After breakfast, trek start with rugged trail with up and down continue to Philim through passing jungle and dramatically stunning view of Srigri Himal. Philim is a large numbers of Gurung villages with millet and corn fields. Overnight at Tented Camp .

Day 08: Philim to Dyang (1860m),
After breakfast, trek continue flowing along the way to Buddhi Gandaki River until the way combined to the left Manasulu Trek & to the right Tsum Valley, Trek will continue to left side trail to Dyang. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 09: Dyang to Namrung (2540m),
After breakfast,Trek to Namrung will continue after crossing Budhi Gandaki River with up hill and down hill in forest through passing Mani Walls, Stupas, Gompas, stunning view of Naike peak, Manaslu North (7774 meters) and Manaslu (8150 meters) and final steep up trek to Namrung. Overnight at Tented Camp .

Day 10:  Namrung to Lho (3020m),
Early in the morning sunrise and breakfast trail lead continue up hill through frostiness with glaciers and streams, scenic view of landscape and different angle of Mountain View, passing Chortens and Mani wall.  Namrung village is good viewpoint superb view of Manaslu Himalayas.  There are health post, police station in Namrung and famous Ribung Gompa. Overnight at Tented Camp .
 
Day 11: Lho to Sama Gaon(3390m),
After breakfast, trek through stunning view of Himalayas, passing Mani walls, small Buddhist settlement, its more like excursion. Samagaon is one of the classic Lama settlements in the region with monastery and Mani walls and all things totally Tibetan. We will get surrounded by huge mountain as we reach Shyala by Himal Chuli and Peak 29 along with Manaslu and some large glaciers right to the front of us. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 12: Exploring Day & Rest Day
Today we will explore Pungyen Gompa is most charming part of acclimatization day as it bears a good history and outstanding view of glaciers.  Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 13: Sama Gaon to Samdo (3690m),

After breakfast,Trek to Samdo via smooth walking after pass branch of to Manaslu Base Camp through pass Manaslu Glacier, eye-catching view of Manaslu Himalayan hostile highland, crossing suspensions wooden bridge and finally passing through a large white colored Kani, we arrive  Samdo. Overnight at Tented Camp .

Day 14: Samdo to Dharamsala (Larkya Phedi) (4460m),
After breakfast,Trek lead short day walk, trail start walk down the edge and crossing via wooden bridge over Budhi Gandaki. Trek gradually rises through juniper and tundra with a viewpoint overlooking the Larkya La Glacier. Further climb will bring to the stone guest house (4450 m) which is not a lodge but a kind of shelter called Dharmshala, also known as Larkya Phedi, after arrival can be done any time acclimatization prevent from high altitude. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 15: Dharamsala to Bhimtang (3590m),
After breakfast, trek starts earlier then usual. Trail continues gradually up hill till to Larkya La Pass (5100m) through walking glacier and moraine, after arrival at top can see unexpected eye caching mountain view;  Kangurru, Himlung Himal and Annapurna II. After some break at the top we will descent toward the Bimthang. The pass gets steeper and sleepy. It is comparatively a long trek today but we don’t get tired because we refill ourselves with joy. Overnight at Tented Camp .

Day 16: Bhimtang to Dharapani (1860m),

After breakfast, we will descend with short up hill walk through pine and rhododendron forest, Crossing the Dudh Khola twice, climbing up through a chorten-shaped arch and passing a Mani wall and Crossing suspension wooden bridge. After police checking at the village of Thonje, we get merge with the famous trekking trail of Annapurna Circuit. Interested trekker can perform Annapurna circuit trek from here crossing Thorang La pass exploring mustang district. Overnight at Tented Camp.

Day 17: Dharapani to Jagat (1300m),
After breakfast,Trek  to Jagat will be descending through walking Marshyandi River side, terrace field, jungle and passing village to village. Overnight Tented Camp

 
Day 18: Jagat to Syanje (1150m) Kathmandu  

Morning after breakfast, trek down to Syanje about an hours and get privet vehicle or Local Jeep to Beshisahar then we drive to Kathmandu by Privet vehicle or Local Bus through exploring Nepalese country side that offer green hills, river, farms. Overnight at hotel .
Day 19: Leisure Day
Leisure day in Kathmandu, for gift shopping. Overnight at hotel.

Day 20: Final departure onward destination

Transfer to airport, departure on your own destination.

Cost Includes:

  • All necessary transportation by private vehicle. (Kathmandu to Aarughat or Syanje to Kathmandu by Local Bus)
  • Hotel in Kathmandu on twin sharing basis with breakfast
  • All accommodation and meals during the trek on Tented Camp.
  • A full day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu valley including tour guide and entrance fees
  • An experienced English-speaking trek leader (trekking guide), assistant trek leader (4 trekkers: 1 assistant guide) and Sherpa porters to carry luggage
  • All trekking equipment (Tent, mattress, dining tent, kitchen tent, toilet tent, kitchen utensils etc.)
  • Including staff salary, insurance, equipment food and lodging
  • Down jacket, four seasonal sleeping bag, duffel bag and trekking map (down jacket and sleeping bag are to be returned after trip completion)
  • All necessary paper work and permits (National park permit, TIMS )
